What inspired you to pursue a career in marketing and business development?

I originally studied graphic design and always knew I wanted to work in a creative field, but I never expected to end up in architecture. Once I started working at BBCO, I realized how much I loved being surrounded by creative people and helping tell the story behind the work. Over time, I also discovered a passion for business development and connecting with people throughout the industry.

What do you love most about working at BBCO?

One of my favorite things about BBCO is how close our team is. I genuinely know every person I work with, which creates such a collaborative and supportive environment. I also feel very proud to work at a woman-owned firm and grateful to be surrounded by such strong female leadership and role models.

What’s your favorite part of your role?

I really enjoy working on RFQs and proposals because there’s such a rewarding feeling when everything comes together after a challenging pursuit. It feels even better when we win projects that I know our team will be especially excited to work on, like early learning centers, libraries, and other community-focused spaces.

What excites you most about business development?

I love the relationship-building aspect of business development and getting to connect with people who work in the same world we do. It’s exciting to learn about different organizations, find new opportunities, and help create connections that can lead to meaningful future projects.

What’s your go-to creative fuel (coffee, music, routine)?

Finding a new artist to listen to, hitting shuffle, and drinking my half-finished iced coffee all day.
