The View on Fifth - Phase 1

The first phase of a large two phase project in the Grandview area of Columbus Ohio, this project is comprised of a 5 building 132 apartment unit development. The complex is comprised of a mixture of one and two bedroom units designed in a distinctive modern aesthetic featuring large windows, efficient open floor plans and upscale finishes to appeal to a largely Millennial clientele. BBCO developed 3 story walk-up style buildings with a unique alternating shed roof design that helped reduce construction costs and created additional loft mezzanine spaces.

Combined with a varying skin design comprised of cement board and corrugated metal siding we managed to unify the facades of the typically chopped up aesthetic of the walk-up type buildings to create the illusion of larger single buildings to blend in seamlessly with the local industrial warehouse context.
