SWACO Education Resource Center
BBCO is serving as the lead interior architect and construction administration coordinator for SWACO’s development of a new Administrative Office Building (AOB) and the renovation of an existing facility into an Education Resource Center (ERC). BBCO’s services include programming and stakeholder engagement, development of the Program of Requirements, space planning, interior design coordination, integration of sustainable design strategies, collaboration with the architectural and engineering teams, and construction administration. The project combines new construction with adaptive reuse while targeting a minimum of LEED Silver certification.
Through structured interviews and collaborative working sessions, BBCO translated SWACO’s operational needs into efficient, functional office and educational environments. The design incorporates sustainable and energy-efficient strategies while maintaining alignment with the project’s program, budget, and schedule. Close coordination with the owner, consultants, and multidisciplinary project team supports the modernization of these public-sector facilities and SWACO’s long-term operational and educational goals.
