Environmental Center

The Environmental Learning Center at Camp Ken Jockety was reimagined as a hands-on destination for environmental education, STEM learning, and community gathering. The project includes an 8,000-square-foot renovation with new offices, a 100-person dining and event space, a lab classroom, and a commercial kitchen for farm-to-table programming, along with a new greenhouse and on-site garden beds that support year-round learning.

Sustainability is showcased throughout the design, including preserved geothermal systems that remain visible to visitors as a teaching tool. Exterior improvements add accessible parking, expanded gravel parking, and a new patio that connects indoor spaces to the natural landscape. Thoughtfully planned and warmly designed, the center offers an engaging environment for Girl Scouts and the broader community.
