The View on High

The View on High represents a new trend in development in Columbus that capitalizes on the higher land value in urban areas that house single story suburban style buildings with parking lots and transform these sites into highly dense urban mixed use developments. JSDI Celmark, hired BBCO to maximize the development potential of a Wendy’s restaurant at the intersection of Woodruff & High Streets in the campus area. BBCO designed a facility that rehoused the existing 4000 sf Wendy’s restaurant and created an additional 3000 sf of retail, a 132 car parking garage, and 4 stories of student housing with 162 beds and amenity spaces.

The scheme was very well received by the University Area Review Board and received unanimous approval from the commission.
