The King

King Avenue Apartments is a dense townhouse development in the OSU Campus region comprising of 25 townhouses accommodating 50 residential units.

The design was developed in close association with the University Area Review Board and local neighborhood groups. This site presented several challenges like density limitations, height restrictions, and design conformance with the historic Victorian stile context.

BBCO developed a scheme that satisfied all requirements by working with the design review boards, neighborhood organizations, and zoning variances. The resultant design is a brownstone typology to maximize height limits designed in a modern interpretation of the Victorian style.
