The Emilia School

The Emilia School is a chain of Reggio Inspired Child Care Learning Centers in the Central Ohio region. BBCO was tasked with renovating an early-mid 90’s two-story daycare building with a traditional facade, to meet the unique requirements of this model of education as well as give the building a more modern, updated exterior.

We reconfigured the classroom layouts and designed front and rear additions to accommodate the new program. On the exterior, a new two story glazed entry helped with modernizing the facade. We painted the exterior stone facade white and added modern composite wood accents to the stacked windows which made a significant improvement.
